Mrs. Applegate was born March 10, 1957 in Elkhart, Indiana, daughter of the late Clayton and Joan Tacy. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Laura Cormican.
Marcie was baptized in January of 1968 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her husband, Theodore L. Applegate, Jr.; a brother, Michael Tacy and wife Maribel; and many cousins and other relatives.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 960 Southport - Supply Road, Bolivia, NC 28422.
