Mr. Taylor was born March 25, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia, son of the late Mervin and Hazel Taylor.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Taylor; seven children, Andy Taylor and wife Tasha, Mervin "Bubbs" Taylor and wife Karen, Dorethea Taylor and fiance Greg Pritt, Jerrold Taylor and wife Jennifer, Carlton Taylor and wife Amy, Christopher Lewis and wife Christina, and Adam Taylor and wife Kristen; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn Muck. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerrold Taylor; and a sister, Barbara Lucas.
The Funeral Mass will be held at noon on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport.
