

Michael (Mike) Russell Paladino passed away at his home in Southport, NC four days after his 70th birthday. His untimely death was due to a series of strokes. He was surrounded by endless love from his close family and friends.
Mike was originally from Astoria, New York and was the son of the late Michael and Jean Paladino, and spent most of his life in West Islip, NY before moving to Southport in January 2006 after retiring.
Surviving are his loving wife, Donna of 30 years; a son Michael; a daughter, Marissa and his faithful and well-loved dog Ali.
Mike was an avid fisherman who enjoyed gardening, the beach and being outside in the sun. His greatest love was people and was known to put a smile on the faces of everyone he met. He touched many lives and those who knew him will be left with loving memories and laughs. He will remain in the hearts of his loved ones forever.
A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday March 19, 2015 at Peacock Newnam & White Funeral and Cremation Service Chapel by Reverend Madison Drew officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3 PM and 5:00PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday at the Funeral Home.
