When I think of Mike, I just have to laugh. His memory recalls all the crazy times the boys had. I guess you can say I was their house Mom. It was always chaos, but you could feel the warmth and love fro m  them and especially Mike!! He will be missed by everyone whose lives he touched. I know that Angie misses him every day, but she was blessed to have spent what time she had with him and I know he truly loved her. Sleep well Stan and know that I have a special place in my heart just for you !

It’s hard to believe Mike is gone, because he was such an “alive” person— so fun, funny, full of energy, and warm-hearted.
He made my young son feel so welcome  when I married his cousin. Later, when he married the love of his life, Angie, he opened his heart to her 5 children as if they had been born to him. He flourished in his wonderful ready-made family.. He wasn’t crazy about school, but Mike was so  smart about people and life.  You always learned learning something in conversation with him. Witty when he spoke, he was also a great listener. He always left people feeling that he cared.

Mike  we always had fun on the the lake.  Ps lake tranquility you  will always be remembered. From green hills till newton high school and oak island my love in the south.  I am going to miss you. God bless 

I'll never forget the first time I met Mike. I was kid no older than 9 or 10 which would have put Mike in high school. I remember hanging out with him in his room; supercars on the wall, playboys under the bed, a weight bench in the corner, he in his muscle tank, mullet dancing in the wind - which was amazing since we're inside with no wind anywhere. He was the coolest guy I had ever seen and here he is treating me like his little brother even though we had just met maybe an hour ago, and I worshiped him for it.  
That's the way it was with Mike. He loved people and treated them without pretense or falsities. I only spoke with him sporadically over the decades, but each time it was like no time had passed, and it always brightened my outlook on life. This essence of him will always stay with me.
I'm lucky that my life was touched by Mike, even in some small way, and my deepest condolences go out to those that were lucky enough to be with him every day.

There are so many memories could share because Stan was one of my "boys".  They were a very diverse  close knit group of friends that spent so many hours at my home bringing laughter as well as tears through their High School years. 
Stan lived life to the fullest and never let things get to him.  He could be silly and sometimes goofy.  The memory that stands out in my mind was when very late one night when all the gang had settled down he convinced me to climb out a bedroom window to sit on the roof and watch the sun rise! That shared quiet time was a special gift he gave me.  I know he will be missed by Angie and I thank her for taking care of him and loving the person he was. Stan, please don't give Saint Peter to hard a time.  I hope heaven is ready for you. I will miss you and hold your memory close in my heart.  Mom G









An awesome fella he always knows what's up. I miss heckling just for a laugh , though we're the only ones laughing.
