Mildred was a devoted wife, a loving mother, amazing grand and great-grandmother, and the best friend you could ever hope for. Even after being diagnosed with Alheizmers in 2008, she was still a fighter . She was one of the strongest people you would have ever met. It was an honor and pleasure to know her. So we leave you with a small poem written by her and hope you take something from it.
"This New Day"
"This New day is given to us
Uncluttered, fresh and clean
Yesterday's troubles are in the past
Tomorrow's may never be seen
God granted us this new day
To do with as we will
Let's fill it with kindness and Happiness
Love, Joy and good will"
