She is survived by Lowell Nichols, her husband of 54 years. Also surviving are her three children, Nancy Ann McInville, Robert Nichols, and Susan Kronebusch; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and multiple extended family members.
Nancy lived a full life and was able to travel the world with her husband. She had worked at NASA with the original seven astronauts. She has also worked in the Pentagon and as a civil servant for over 30 years. In her free time she enjoyed serving her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, dancing and bowling. Even after Alzheimer’s began affecting her memory, Nancy always remembered to show her family love and always remained positive. Her beautiful presence is deeply missed by everyone, but she is at peace with the Heavenly Father.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, they were right by Nancy’s side, along with her family in her final days.
