A native of Kentucky, and a lover of the mountains and the beach, especially Oak Island, Norma was a kind soul who donated regularly to animal rescues. She was loved by many and was known for her caring and giving heart. She believed in finding the simple joys in life. From bird watching to country/folk music, she always found pleasure in the little things.
Norma loved her family and enjoyed reminiscing by telling old family stories and looking through pictures from her youth. She looked forward to visits from friends and neighbors. She always loved being "tickled" by a good joke or funny story.
Preceded in death by her husband, Elwood Leslie Wall, Sr., and son, Elwood Leslie (Les) Wall, Jr. She is survived by her granddaughters, Lindsay Behrens and Sara Wall, as well as her great grandsons, Nolan and Oliver.
Her memorial service will be held at Peacock - Newnam and White Funeral Home in Southport, NC on Nov 6th at 11am. Her burial will be on Nov 9th at 12pm at Lakeview Memorial Park in Greensboro, NC.
In lieu of flowers, a kind deed toward another would be appreciated by the family.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.peacocknewnamwhite.com for the Wall family.
