Pam was born, September 22, 1946 in New London, CT; daughter of the late John Lute and Ruby Estelle McBride Nelson. She loved crocheting and sending her creations to the maternity ward at the local hospital.
Pam is survived by her sons, Leonard Turner and his wife Michelle of Midway, GA and Glwyn Sawyer and his wife Amanda of Bolivia; her brother, William Kenneth Nelson of Virginia; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Howard Turner, Jr. and her brothers, Larry and Gary Nelson and her sister, Mary Davis.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the SECU Hospice House of Brunswick-Lower Cape Fear Life Care.
