Mrs. Gardner was born June 16, 1934 in Columbus County, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Neal Archie Hall and Della Nance Hall. She was retired from Babcock & Wilcox and had been a member of Beach Road Baptist Church for the past six years.
Survivors include her son, Donald Hall of Southport; five daughters, Cathy Gardner of Pembroke, Diane Fix and husband Greg of Ellabell, Georgia, Donna Moody of Laurinburg, Deborah Wood and husband Jerry of Rhonda, and Jacqueline Perryman and husband Glenn of Lexington, a brother Neal Mitchell Hall and wife Joann of Raleigh; eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; she is also survived by her dog Sadie.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Beach Road Baptist Church.
