Philip was born May 7, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Thomas Joseph Scudieri and Carmela Andrise Scudieri. He graduated from Duke University on a football scholarship with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. He held a Master's Degree from Purdue University.
Mr. Scudieri is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anne Scudieri; three children, Susan Jones and husband Stephen, Stephen Scudieri and wife Tracey, and Catherine Scudieri and husband John Tingerthal; five grandchildren, Madeline, Anna, Ani, Elli, and Tony; three great-grandchildren, Emily, Charlie, and Henry; and two brothers, Thomas Scudieri and Terry Scudieri. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Scudieri; and a sister, Katherine Russell.
A funeral mass for Mr. Scudieri will be held Friday, November 11, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Southport, North Carolina.
