

Mr. Webb was born in Olive Hill, Kentucky on April 1, 1953, son of the late Harold Q. Webb and Jacqueline Stamper Webb. Mr. Webb attended Maury High School in Norfolk, Virginia then went on to graduate from Washington and Lee University in 1975. He was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Webb graduated with his JD from the University of Kentucky Law School. After graduation, he practiced law for Gess Mattingly & Atchison Law Firm. He also practiced with Robinson and McElwee, PLLC. Mr. Webb was currently of counsel to Bald Head Island Limited, LLC since 2000. Ray was known for his love of sailing, fishing, hunting and music, especially beach music.
Survivors include his wife Mary “Chris” Webb and was also survived by sister and brother in-law, Maureen and Ray O’Bryan, Michael and Elaine McCann, Martin and Maggie McCann, nieces and nephews Christine, Michael, Brian and Erin McCann, Colin, Brendan and Claire O’Bryan, Claire, Kevin, Martin and Geoffrey McCann; cousin JoAnn C. Needham of Morehead, Kentucky; and his loving companion “Beau” which he rescued from Foothills Golden Retriever Rescue.

A memorial service will be 2:00pm Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Bald Head Village Chapel.
