He was raised in Teaneck NJ, and lived for many years in River Edge, NJ as well. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and Rutgers Law School, he practiced law in NJ for many years before relocating to North Carolina in retirement. He was an avid golfer, proud NRA member, loved fishing and music, and was a devoted partner and father.
He is survived by his daughters Alexis and Kimberly, his brother Robert and his brother’s wife Fran, and his long term partner MaryAnn Kelly. He joins in rest his beloved wife Mariann, and his parents Tina and Milton.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Duke University, who took excellent care of Richard and Mariann.
A reception will be held at Richard’s home on Saturday July 12 from 1pm to 5pm for those who would like to pay their respects.
