Mr. Lisk was born April 15, 1950, son of the late Robert Blair Lisk, Sr. and Lillian Lefler Lisk. He graduated from Hoke County High School and attended Cape Fear Community College. Mr. Lisk worked as a Merchant Marine as a Chief Engineer on several ships with his last employment being with the NC Ferry System. Bobby was an expert fisherman and loved woodworking. He was very philosophical and had a passion for inventions. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, and wife Brenda Boles Lisk.
Survivors include stepchildren, Jeff, Jason, Keith, and Gerri Anna; brother, Johnny Lisk of Southport; sister, Donna Fullwood of Southport; niece Casey Fullwood of Siler City, NC; one great niece; one great nephew; nine step grandchildren; and four step great grandchildren; and his faithful companion “Tinker.”
A memorial service at sea will be held at a later date.
