Mrs. Fryer was born October 14, 1947 in Binghamton, New York, daughter of the late Robert and Anne Conant. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. DeDe loved the ocean and living in Oak Island since she moved here fifteen years ago. She had a stroke in 2004 but enjoyed twelve more years with her grandchildren and family.
Mrs. Fryer leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 45 years, George Fryer; daughters, Sarah Anne Bai and husband John of Denver, North Carolina and Rebecca Lynn Dunn of Huntersville, North Carolina; two brothers, Michael Conant of Modesto, California and Chris Conant of Binghamton, New York; two sisters, Kathy Wells of Falmouth, Maine and Charlotte Heil of Binghamton, New York; four grandchildren, Caleb Dunn, Addison Dunn, Kaitlin Bai, and Ryan Bai.
The funeral mass will be held at 12 noon Friday, May 27, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Southport with Reverend Trent Watts officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5269 Dosher Cutoff, Southport, North Carolina 28461.
