Ron W. Kennon

Ron was born August 11, 1953 in Arlington, Virginia, son of the late Cecil and Mary Hill Kennon. Ron dedicated 30 years of employment to Fairfax County, where he resided until retiring to Oak Island, NC. While he was a man of few words, Ron was always a gracious neighbor and friend, willing to lend a hand to those in need. Those who had the pleasure of spending time with Ron know that he enjoyed the simple things in life and had a profound love of cars, racing, music and margaritas. Ron was fiercely loyal to his family, always speaking proudly of his own family and the family he inherited through marriage. While his time on Earth was cut short, the memories of shared laughs and shared drinks with Ron will carry on.

Survivors include his wife Theresa DeFiori Kennon of Oak Island; children, Joshua Holm of Columbia, South Carolina and Christina Eastman of Burke, Virginia; sister, Cindy Kennon of Manassas, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Brittnay, Josh Jr., Noah, Anthony, Summer, Lyla, and Caleb; numerous nieces and nephews; and his cat Girlie Girl.
