Sharon was born on May 4, 1955 in Brooklyn, New York, daughter of the late Frank and Florence McGinnis. Sharon enjoyed playing Bingo at Winner's World. Sharon was a Christian woman who loved God and going to church at Hope Baptist Church in Wilmington. She was loved by many and would always help anyone.
She is survived by her son, Jason Collins; three grandchildren, Ki Daily, Alexis Collins, and William Collins; and two goddaughters, Karena Spivey and Amber Spivey. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Collins.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
