Shelby Lee Sellers

Shelby was born January 30, 1965, daughter of James Robert Sellers, Sr. and the late Waynea Johnson Sellers. She worked as a tax appraiser for 10 years. She loved animals, especially her dog and would always enjoy getting a new one to love on. Shelby enjoyed working in her yard and was often known as an avid “sunbather.” She also loved her family and took care of her mother until her death in 2013 and then cared for her father until her own death Thursday.

Leaving to cherish her memory is her father, James Robert Sellers, Sr. of Bolivia; children, Michael Rivenbark of Bolivia, Erica Ratcliffe of Southport, and Shayna Rivenbark of Bolivia; brother James Robert Sellers, Jr. and wife Shandi of Virginia; sister, Tina Goodrich and husband Chris of South Carolina; two grandchildren, Ashanti Price and Josiah Hankins; nephew, Jason and nieces, Nicole, Alyssa, and Madison.

A graveside service will be at one o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Brown Cemetery in Bolivia.

The family will receive friends Thursday, October 13, 2016 from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening at Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral and Cremation Service in Southport.
