She was from Pulham Market, England, and came to live in the United States in 1994. Shirley was a bold, fun-loving woman with a shining spirit who loved life, was passionate about her family, and brought positive energy and light to everyone and everything she encountered. She was well known for her wit and honesty, her love of being at the beach, creating good food, an affinity for good music, and winning at gambling and Scrabble.
She is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 26 years, Tracy, and sons Karl and wife Wendy Stilton, Kraig Stilton, brothers Martin, Don, Bryan, Barry, Andy, Derrick, and Tony Claxton, sister Joy Claxton, granddaughters Jessica,Amy, and Kymmy Stilton, and great-grandsons Albie and Arlo Hickman. She was predeceased by her father, Derrick Claxton, and sister Maureen Claxton.
