

Stosh, as he was referred to by his wife and friends, was born on August 7, 1935, in Elizabeth, NJ to Philip and Mary Muzychko. He graduated from Jonathan Dayton Regional High School in Springfield, NJ in 1953.
He began his career working as an auto mechanic at a Sunoco station in Rahway, which was across the street from an ice cream shop where he first met his wife. He moved on to start his successful auto repair business and would eventually partner with his son Michael until his retirement.
Stosh enjoyed fishing, woodworking, taking friends and family on his first boat the ‘Chris Miss’ on the Raritan Bay, his retirement in North Carolina, and spending time with his family and friends. Overall, Stosh enjoyed anything that involved helping others.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joan Muzychko; daughter Christine Berko and her husband Michael Berko; son Michael Muzychko and his wife Joyce Muzychko ; grandchildren Drew, Lisa, Matthew, and Vincent; and great-grandchildren Jackson Stanley and Evangeline Lucie; as well as many close friends. He is predeceased by his sisters Mary Sashen and Stephanie Saley and brothers Vasil, Nicholas, Peter, Walter, and Edward.
Memorial will be held Sunday, March 11, 2018 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the American Legion, 581 Maple Ave., Rahway, NJ, 07065.
