Stephanie was born October 2, 1955 in Toronto, Ohio, daughter of the late Roy Minnick and Phyllis Candoo Minnick. She was a caring and generous person who was always doing special things for others. She took pride in making her famous scones and giving them to her friends and family. Her brother Roy Minnick preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband James Edward King of Southport; daughters, Krista King of Southport and Summerlee King of Wilmington; sister, Karen Walker of Ohio; two grandchildren, KayLeigh Townsend and Britton Townsend.
The family will have a private service at her home.
