Mrs. Gibboney was born September 11, 1943, in Greensboro, NC the daughter of the late Michaux Henly Crocker and Mary Walker Crocker. She was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Greensboro. Mrs. Gibboney attended Guilford College and worked for Burlington Industries and Allied Chemical. She later founded Emphasis Marketing, which she owned for 20 years.
Surviving is the love of her life, her husband Bill Gibboney; a brother Michaux Crocker; three nephews Michaux Crocker III, Joe Crocker, and David Crocker; and a niece Temple Crocker.
A memorial service will be held in the Peacock – Newnam & White Funeral Service Chapel at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 14, 2015.
