Mr. Workman was born November 2, 1947, son of the late Percy and Lois Oakley Workman. He enjoyed playing golf, watching Duke basketball, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Mr. Workman loved God and enjoyed spreading the Gospel throughout the world as a member of Christian Motorcycle Association. His love of God was also made known through his work as a member of Christian Golfers Ministry. Mr. Workman was preceded in death by his sister Brenda.
Leaving to cherish his memory is his wife Kathy Soyars Workman of Southport; son, Scott Workman and wife Kim of Greensboro; daughter, Jennifer Dorman and husband Scott of Las Vegas, Nevada; and grandson, Jack Dorman.
A gathering of friends will be from 10am until 12pm Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the Clubhouse at South Harbour Village, 4132 Vanessa Drive, Southport, NC.
