William Allen Phillips, 59, passed away September 23 at his home in Boiling Spring Lakes, NC. Allen is survived by his wife of 17 years Fran Phillips, mother Teena Phillips and siblings Tom Phillips, Jerrie Ann Barnes and Jamie Cochran of Pensacola, FL. Allen proudly served his country in the Air Force working a C-130 Gunship in Vietnam. Allen's friends and family knew his passion for drag racing and would spend most weekends announcing races in Jacksonville, Fayetteville and Rockingham. He was a loving Step Grandfather to Alice and Cameron both of Port Orchard, WA. He was loved by his wife and will be missed by his extended family and many racing friends.
