Abraham Betesh

Abe, a funny, passionate, and kind soul, has passed away. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Abe brought joy and music into the world throughout his life. He was an exceptionally talented musician and an expert flute player, sharing his passion for music with those around him.

Those who knew Abe knew his immense love for dogs and all animals. His compassion for living creatures was a defining part of who he was, and he will be deeply missed by his beloved dog, Max.

Abe was preceded in death by his much-loved wife, Elizabeth, and his mother Rachel, father Sam, and brother Joey.

He also leaves behind a circle of close friends who became his chosen family, just as he became ours. Abe’s presence, humor, and generous spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.

Chapel services will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2026 at 12 noon at Menorah Gardens & Funeral Chapel, 21100 West Griffin Rd., Southwest Ranches, Fl. 33332.
