Dave, whenever you entered the room, we knew we were in for a great time.  Your positivity and smile are unmatched.  Love the way you were so content with that Toyota echo.  It's just the simple things you appreciated.  Nothing could upset you. We should take a step back and learn from your example - we will surely miss you so very much mazorman.

Dave trained me as an air traffic controller. We laughed everyday and got through some difficult times. He cared for his family and friends more than himself. A great man has been taken too soon. A true friend to the end.

David and I worked together for over 10 years. He was one of my Everglades allies. Under a sometimes rough exterior, he was completely genuine, undeniably caring, and always curious about the world.  A devoted dad, he loved his daughter with his whole soul. I’ll miss my rapid fire banter with him in the control room and the deeper conversations outside of it. You were a good man, Dave. The world is less bright without you.

David was a student of mine and I developed a close relationship with his family. I thought the world of David. He will be missed by my family.
