My deepest condolences to the friends and family of Jeffrey Brezner. The name of "Mr. Brezner" has remained in my memory for 57 years.  I was in his math class in 1966-1967 and 1967-1968 at Junior High School 204, Oliver Wendell Holmes Junior High.  He was an excellent math teacher, but he also changed my life in an equally important way.  In the first class of the seventh grade, he told us that in order to get into a good college we would need to study and apply ourselves. That changed my thinking from elementary school, and I ultimately got into the Bronx High School of Science, Sarah Lawrence College, UCLA, and Columbia, resulting in my teaching business admnin at Brooklyn College and other colleges for several decades.  In looking back at my education, he was one of a handful of teachers who had a profound impact on my life. I recently told my wife the story of the seventh grade and tried looking him up but was saddened to learn of his  death. God bless his soul.

To the family of Dr.Jeffrey Brezner I send my belated condolences. He was my homeroom and Math teacher in  JHS 204 in 1967. He was a PHENOMINAL teacher, human being and all around fantastic individual. 
Not only did he instill a great respect for Math in me and brought my grade up in the subject but he introduced me to a lifelong love affair with basketball.
Such a loss, such a magnificent person.

Jeffrey Brezner was a true gentleman and he will be terribly missed. I had the privilege to work with Jeff for many years at Miami-Dade College. There was no finer person in every aspect than Jeff. He was always courteous, extremely smart and always generous to anyone who came in contact with him. He was a such wonderful person and he really cared for all those who worked with him. I know I will miss him immensely. He was the best example of a true friend and an overall outstanding individual. Rest In Peace Jeff. 

I am saddened to read that Jeff is no longer walking amongst us with his smile, great attitude and camera in hand.  Jeff and my brother Harvey are once again together - laughing, taking photos, enjoying  one another's company.  Jeff will be missed by all who knew him - may him memory be a blessing to all he touched.


I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff at the camera club.  He was a kind soul who always made me feel so welcome.  My sympathies to his family.

My deepest condolences to you and your family. I have great memories of jeff attending Masters Gardener events, enjoying plant shows,and being quick to give you a smile. I know you need time be assured the ladies from  the Master Gardener class of 2009 will be there when you need us. God Blessings my friend.

Sandi, I'm so sorry to hear of Jeffrey's passing. He was such a wonderful sport going on all the various field trips with us.  His love for you and his family shone through,  always.

I was so sad to hear of Jeff's passing. Jeff always had a kind word and a smile for me and I'm sure for everyone he met. I always looked forward to seeing him at Saturday's  camera club. His presentation of his England trip was a one of a kind. I will always remember it. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Jeff was kind of heart and generous of spirit. It was always a joy to see him.  All who knew him will never forget his dedication to Wray Home and all his beautiful photographs of Flamingo Gardens.  May God comfort his family and all those who mourn his loss.

This message is for you my friend. I received the bad news today and must say it was a shock. Knowing you were at home I was ready to send you a message of "get well soon" but never thought I had to change the lines to God bless you knowing he will take care of you now in heaven. You are in good hands.

The last time I saw you at Flamingo Gardens you commented  having some trouble to recall certain things or certain people, but you did remembered me very well keeping me in your mind. That was a beautiful thing to hear and certainly one thing it will stay with me forever. Thank you for the fun it was knowing you, your cheerful character and sense of humor. I had the honor of helping you when I was in charge of the Camera Club, moreover knowing through your comments that I had helped you be a better photographer. Again, beautiful words that will stay with me forever. I am glad to be your friend as you called me.

Now the memories you left with us are our treasure. We all have them and be sure I have mine. Thank you for all you gave us.

Jeff was a true gentleman and a joy to spend time with.  I volunteered with him in the Wray Home at Flamingo Gardens and he never had a down day.  He was always smiling and had the gift of laughter and had his tour groups laughing, a rare talent.   Jeff loved kids and nothing made him happier than to gift a child with a quarter after he baffled them by pulling a quarter from behind their ear.  He loved and was so proud of his granddaughter, Bryce, who lives in Wales.  He would talk to anyone who was willing to listen about her and I saw all of her beautiful pictures.  As it became too difficult for him to make the trip to Wales he was truly sad he could not see the her unless her family could make the trip here.  I have missed Jeff since he did not return  to the Wray Home after the lock down.  He led a life he could be proud of and will be missed by all who knew him.

 It was an honor to have Jeff as a volunteer and friend at Flamingo Gardens. He was a cheerful decent person and we in the Garden club will miss him. I’m sure he will have many mitzvahs in heaven.

Jeff's memory will live on at Flamingo Gardens. He loved the Gardens and we all loved him back and will miss him.  He captured so many moments at the Gardens with his camera and made so many of our guests smile while giving tours of the Wray Home. He was truly a beloved member of the Flamingo Gardens Family.

I am so very sorry for your loss of this wonderful man. We were in the Flamingo Gardens Camera Club together, Jeff and I were always one of the first to arrive. We would chat before we got started snapping photos for the assignment of the day. He always had a nice thing to say about all of our photos as we would have them on display for critique during our monthly meetings.  He enjoyed his time at the gardens and always participated in photo contests. I don't think he ever missed one since I have been a member.   I will miss his smile and cheerful disposition. It will not be the same without him. 

It was an absolute privilege knowing Jeff and having the opportunity to work with him as a volunteer at Flamingo Gardens. I will always remember him as a happy gentleman, telling corny jokes and making quarters appear from behind children's ears when they toured the Wray Home museum. He will be fondly remembered by the whole Flamingo Gardens family.
