Dr. John Lister in 1997 was a founding member of the Weston Philharmonic Society, precursor of the current Weston Music Society.  He was an active Board member almost up to the end of his life.  He was a steady, solid sage who graced our Board with his compassion and wisdom.  He also was an afficionado of classical music and impressed his colleagues with his knowledge of all things musical.
John was also a noted cardiologist who presented scholarly papers at conferences all over the United States.  He was a quiet, dignified man who commanded admiration and deep respect from all who knew him.  In short, John Lister was a good man.
May he rest in peace and may his memory be a blessing.
