Even though you’ve been gone for several years now, I still remember certain phrases you used with me to help me deal with my personal issues, and with life in general.  You were a very wise man, and a super psychiatrist.

I was very sorry to hear about Lenny’s passing. 
I was proud to be Lenny’s cousin. Whenever I was at a psychotherapy conference and encountered
therapists from south Florida,, I would ask if they knew my cousin, Dr. Leonard  Lebow. They would smile and say very kind and respectful words about Lenny. We the  family were very proud of his accomplishments, as well as his inclusiveness  in sharing his simchas with all of the aunts, uncles and cousins. I was especially moved by his generosity to his aunt and uncle in the last years of their lives.

 When Lenny married  Dafna, all the elders of the family were thrilled. They were wowed at her becoming an M.D. while raising four kids. I know how much Lenny will be missed by Dafna and the children and grandchildren.  May his memory always shine for them.  Rest in peace, Lenny, 
after a life well lived.

My wife and I have been meeting with Dr. Lebow weekly for the last 4 years. He knows more about us than almost anyone else. We shared the good. We shared the bad. We shared the ups and downs. We forever owe him a deep debt of gratitude for helping us become better people, better parents, better friends and a better married couple.  

We enjoyed his sense of humor, his compassion, his intellect and his continued love for the work he did.  He touched our lives in a significant way and we will forever miss him.  

I will always have fond memories of Lenny and I am so grateful to have grown up with the Lebow Family.  My condolences to you.

Dr Lebow was my doctor for the past 6 years. He helped me through some of the hardest times in my life and I honestly don’t know if I would still be here if it were not for him. I am in shock at his loss and offer my deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. I am at peace at least in knowing that he got to see me finally reach a happy place in my life during the past two years, mostly thanks to his help and advice. Thank you Dr Lebow. I appreciate you.

I was so shocked to hear of Dr. Leonard Lebow’s passing.  He helped me through such difficult times.  I can still hear him and what he taught me.  My deepest condolences to his wife and entire family.

Dr. Lebow  cared, he laughed and he shined as my Doctor for 16 years. I forever will be grateful to him for taking care of me. After 10 years or so I used to joke with him and call him Uncle Leonard.

Lenny was my best friend growing up. From Paul Junior High through Coolidge High School we were almost inseparable.  I spent a lot of time at his house on Leegate Road. We played basketball across the street at the church or spent endless hours talking about girls.  He was an absolute math genius.  After we both left graduate school, he into medicine and me into law, we lost touch for a number of years, but we reunited and after that the four of us (Lenny, Dafna, my late wife Phyllis and me) often visited either in Florida or DC or traveled together or went to weddings (primarily his kids).  Dafna and Lenny were the best couple I knew.  Lenny was and always will be my best friend.  I love the Lebows and my heart is broken for them and for me.


Lenny and I were first cousins. Although as adults we lived far apart, we shared a bond from being family, growing up in Maryland. To me he was always tall, handsome, intelligent, funny, reassuring cousin Lenny.  My favorite old memory was his visit to Boston when I was in college. We went last minute  to the symphony in jeans and he reassured me clothing didn't contribute to appreciating the music. I loved to hear his laugh.  My condolences to Dafna and family. Rest in peace, dear cousin. 

Lenny was a cousin and a lifelong friend. I loved him very much. He was responsible for my applying to Cornell, for which I have been forever grateful. He was a usher at my wedding to Suzan and later he and Dafna attended all our family events and we attended all the Lebow mitzvahs.
He had a great sense of humor,  an unforgettable laugh and a great intellect. I will miss our long conversations.
