It is with profound sadness to announce that Roberta “Bobbi” Brown, 82, of Weston, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.

Roberta L. Brown, who only answered to “Bobbi,” was born in New York in 1939. She lived in Georgia, New Jersey, and Florida, making long-lasting friends wherever she went. Bobbi loved dancing, playing slot machines, watching Hallmark movies and anything that would make her laugh. She was an incredible saleswoman who could quite literally “sell ice to an Eskimo.”

Bobbi was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Howard, as well as her parents, George and Rose Spiegel, her brother, Jerry Spiegel, and her oldest son, Lonny Brown.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacey Hymowitz (Michael) of Weston, FL, and her son, Mitchell Brown (Steffi) of Columbus, NJ, as well as her grandchildren and those she loved as if they were (to whom she will forever be “Nanny P”): Jeremy, Haley, Brooke, Alexa, Madison, and Brendan.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Menorah Gardens & Funeral Chapel, 21100 Griffin Rd., Southwest Ranches, FL 33332 (954) 434-1531.

Shiva will be observed at the home of Stacey and Michael Hymowitz, 19206 Stonebrook Street, Weston, FL 33332 on Friday, March 11, 2022, following the service until 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, March 13, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
