Vivian Adele Rainisch, 83, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2023 in Weston, Florida. Formally a grade school teacher by trade, she was far better known as the long suffering straight-man to her husband, Al, for the past 56 years. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1939, she achieved her Master’s degree from Brooklyn College and went on to a long and distinguished career in the NYC education system as a respected 4th grade teacher. After her retirement in 1996, she began her next career as a professional grandmother, a role she passionately cherished second to bargain shopping. She is survived by her loving husband Al, daughter Ilene (Neil), son Michael (Kelly), grandchildren Kylie and Dayna Herman, Jonah and Skylar Rainisch, and brother Ron. Vivian was pre-deceased by parents, Arthur and Fannie as well as her brother, Morty.
A funeral service for Vivian will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Menorah Gardens & Funeral Chapels, 21100 West Griffin Road, Southwest Ranches, FL 33332.
