Arlene Bartolomeo, 78, of Sparta, NJ passed away on June 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Arlene was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Sparta, NJ in 2003 . She was an active member of St. Kateri Church in Sparta. She loved cooking and being with friends but she loved nothing more than being with her family. Arlene is predeceased by her beloved daughter Linda Ann Bartolomeo. She is survived by her beloved husband Dominick Bartolomeo; devoted daughter Maria Weingrad and her husband Robert; sister of Stephen Bielenda and his wife Grace; sister of Paula Schroeder and also survived by her three beloved grandchildren: Christina Siegfried, Karolann Weingrad, and Dominick Bartolomeo Jr. Friends and family are invited to visit Friday, June 8, 2018, 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Kateri Tekawitha Church, 427 Stanhope Rd, Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral mass will follow at 11:30 AM at St. Kateri. Entombment will follow at Garden Of Memories, 300 Soldier Hill Road, Township of Washington, NJ 07676.
