Barbara Sullivan

She was the cherished daughter of Robert and Marguerite McCrindle, who predeceased her. She leaves behind her loving children, Patricia Sullivan, Michele and Tony Patton, and Kristin and Wayne List, as well as her precious grandchildren, Megan, Jack, Kate, Ryan, Sarah, Carly, Dylan, and Declan. Her legacy of love and laughter will live on through them. She is also survived by her siblings, Patricia Campbell Nunlist (Bill), Robert McCrindle, and Jeff McCrindle (Michelle) and many cousins, nieces and nephews who all adored her, especially Cathy and Chuck and the entire Daley clan.

Professionally, Barbara dedicated many years to a successful career in corporate real estate. Her work was marked by a unique ability to connect with others, always bringing her characteristic warmth and sincerity to every endeavor.

Barbara's heart was always full when she was surrounded by family at Long Beach Island, where countless cherished memories were created. Her family, especially her grandchildren, brought her endless joy. Her passion for gardening was evident in the spring blooms she potted on her deck at Cherry Tree Lane each year. Christmastime was particularly special to Barbara, as she found immense joy in selecting perfect gifts for her loved ones and decorating her home. Her laughter and light filled the season with warmth every year.

In recent years, Barbara resided at Knollview and The Chelsea in Sparta. Barbara's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to her compassionate caregivers. Their kindness and support enriched Barbara's life, providing comfort in both happy and challenging times. Her love for singing brought joy not only to herself but to everyone around her. Barbara's radiant smile and infectious laughter were a testament to her generous spirit and love for life.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 5:00-7:00pm at Goble Funeral Home, located at 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lake Church at 294 South Sparta Avenue, Sparta, NJ on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 11:00am. Barbara's life was a beautiful testament to the love and generosity she shared with those around her. Her family invites those who knew and loved her to join them in honoring her.
