Carol A. Corazza

She was a graduate of DePaul High School in Wayne, New Jersey and Montclair State College. Carol was a retired physical education teacher, having served in both Catholic schools and the Jefferson Township Public School system. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church for 50 years. Carol, as the true gym teacher that she was, was always active in the outdoors, including hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. She also lived for her annual ski trip each February to Copper Mountain, Colorado. Her true passion, however, was attending every school event and sporting event for her three grandchildren. Rain or shine, she never missed a game.

Carol was the loving mother of Joseph M. Corazza and his wife Michelle. She was the cherished Nana to Matthew J. Corazza, Paul J. Corazza and Amelia J. Corazza. Additionally, Carol was a beloved sister-in-law, Aunt, and Godmother to a number of nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Edward and Dorothy Mulligan; her sister, Maureen Clegg; her husband, Joseph V. Corazza; and her son, Matthew E. Corazza.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 4:00PM - 8:00PM at Goble Funeral Home 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Oak Ridge, NJ on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
