Charles A Olson

Charles A. Olson, 72, of Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey passed away on July 16, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Lake Hopatcong for many years. He attended the New York School of Chiropractic and was a salesman for the Vermont Store Fixtures Company. He is survived by his beloved wife Penny (nee Pursel) Olson; devoted son Scott and his wife Cindy of Schenectady, New York; devoted son Troy and his wife Heather of Wharton, NJ; devoted son Brett Olson of Lake Hopatcong, and devoted daughter Erin Ricciardi and her husband Peter of Lake Hopatcong. Charles is also survived by his beloved grandchildren: Morgan, Dylan, Juliana, Charlie, Caedyn, Dante, Troy, and Julian and his brother Richard Olson. Friends may call Friday, July 19, 2013 from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral mass will be held at 10am Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Saint Kateri RC Church, 427 Stanhope Road, Sparta, NJ 07871. The family asked that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Charles’ memory to the American Cancer Society.
