Charles D. Treanor
October 23, 2020
I remember the day my dad excitedly left our house in Jefferson to go buy golf clubs and become a charter member of the West Milford Golf League. It was there that he met what would become his two best friends… Charlie Treanor and John Gallagher. Dad absolutely enjoyed the camaraderie they all shared for a lifetime. I know Dave, Kathy and Carol you’ll miss your dad everyday as I do mine, but I take a little comfort knowing that he is reunited with your mom and a whole bunch of his golf buddies including my father who will embrace him dearly. My deepest sympathy to you all, Rob Fliegel

Today I wish that I could once again live in a town next door next door to where Charles has lived, just as I did for so many years in the past. I would be present for his and our beloved Audrey's children. Know that I am with you in spirit! ! Charles and Audrey made a good life together. I feel grateful that for Charles all pain and discomfort has ceased. We shall all remember happier days as we send him back to his Creator.

Charlie and my Dad were great buddies well into their 90's. They shared a friendship with a terrific group of guys that had fun and always played by the rules. You will be missed Charlie.....

My heart breaks for the loss of CT. But He, along with Burt and Gallagher now have a threesome. Will never forget your hole-in-one and the 70 you shot at Wallkill. I am honored to have been in your group both times. One of the most loved guys I knew. R.I.P.

Richie just called us to tell us about the passing of Charlie. So sorry to hear this news. We worked together for close to 40 years. He was a great person and partner. I learned a lot from him.
