Charlotte Lucille Nafis

Charlotte was born in The Bronx, New York, resided in Rego Park, NY and East North Port, NY prior to moving to Sparta, NJ in 1969. While living in New York she was employed by the American Chicle Company in Long Island City, NY. After moving to New Jersey she was employed by the Warner-Lambert Company of Morris Plains, NJ as a Supervisor in the Corporate Accounting department prior to retirement in 1986. She was a longtime congregant of the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Newton since 1969. Charlotte cherished spending time with the most important part of her life; her family. She especially loved her grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Donald in 1996. Surviving her are three sons; Andrew and his wife Elizabeth of Montague, George and his wife Joan of Sparta, and Jeffrey and his wife Maureen of Sparta, nine grandchildren, a brother; George Martin, and niece Tara Martin of New York. Family and friends are invited Monday 2~ 4 & 7~9 pm to Goble Funeral home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871. A 10 am Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church 37 Newton-Sparta Rd, Newton, with interment following at Sparta Cemetery.
