Chris resided in Boca Raton, FL for the last 21 years and is survived by his loving life-partner Marla Abbaticola and their daughters Sabastian and Skyler.
Chris was the son of Mary Fortner and Charles Herder and leaves behind his loving sisters Michelle Rubino and Laurie Richmond, brother-in-law James Richmond, nieces Madison and Ava Rubino, as well as many aunts, uncles, and dear friends.
Chris had a relentless work ethic but was most inspired by his love of his children and a deep passion for animals, music, art, and tattoos.
We will forever cherish our memories of Chris - he will be greatly missed and remembered with love.
A memorial service for Chris will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A prayer service will be held at 12:30PM.
