The legacy of love, compassion and true friendship began for the family and friends of Christine Kissack, when she suddenly passed away in her home on Friday, April 12, 2019.

Christine was a lifetime resident of Jefferson Township, where she met the love of her life, Bobby and raised a beautiful family with two wonderful children, Brianna and Jeremy. Christine followed in the footsteps of her predeceased mother, Alice Neill, and taught elementary school in the West Milford School District for 20 years.

Bobby and Christine were true soulmates. From the very start of their life together, their love for each other was so strong and bright, it could blind the world! They shared 30 incredible years of unconditional love; a real-life example of a true love story!

Christine was a Jersey Girl at heart. She was a huge fan of Bruce Springsteen, she loved spending her summers poolside, and creating family memories at the beach in Wildwood. In addition, she would loyally wear her black and yellow in support of her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, she had an affinity for snowmen, and would spend countless hours crocheting blankets for friends and family.

Christine was the wearer many hats… that of a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and teacher. She did not waiver on her obligations to fulfill these roles. Just like the Kissack house, her heart was always full of love and compassion. She put a lot of effort into the well-being and happiness of her family and friends; she was truly altruistic.

Left to remember and celebrate her life are her loving husband Bobby, daughter Brianna, son Jeremy; her father John Neill, her brother Patrick Neill and his wife Janine and nieces Allyson and Caitlyn. She will be sincerely missed by many extended family members, and is survived by a lifetime of friendships fueled by her unconditional love, faith and goodwill.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 5pm – 9pm at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871. Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, 11am at Goble Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the Kissack family is encouraging donations be made in her memory to her favorite charity, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Inc.

Bobby and Family,
I am so saddened to hear of Chrissy's passing. Although I knew her many years ago, I have fond memories of hanging out with her as a kid at the Sunday softball games. She was a beautiful bright light and a wonderful person who will be missed by all who knew her. Please accept my sincere condolences and know that I am praying for comfort and peace for your family in the days ahead.

I had the forever joy of being taught by this wonderful woman in elementary school. It was during a truly challenging time in my life where I was struggling to keep up academically. She always made sure I knew how proud she was of me. She cheered on the small accomplishments, and she always welcomed my questions with a smile. I recall after leaving elementary school seeing her one day at the apple orchard. I heard that familiar voice, the one whom
Supported me no matter what, call my name out in a crowd. It was years later, but he smile was the same. We caught up, and later we found one another on social media. She continued to cheer on my accomplishments, and I regret not taking the opportunity to tell her how much getting a chance to know her meant to me. What a beautiful soul. You will be forever missed ❤️

Chrissi was my first best friend forever! Memories of time spent fishing off the dock, ice skating , sledding, playing 45 RPM records on her Mom's suitcase record player, fixing tuna sandwiches and making forts out of picnic tables and blankets come to mind as I remember our times together as children. Later, after i moved away she would stay in touch with letters and cards sharing her interests and thoughts about boys and school. I still have many of those letters and will cherish them. She was gracious and giving even at a young age. Always thinking of others. My condolences to her precious children, husband, father, and brother and their respective loved ones. She left this earth far too young but she will live in our hearts and memories forever.

Mrs. Kissack was one of our favorite teachers at Apshawa. She was one of a kind...She was full of love, hugs and encouragement. Her smile and her laughter lit up her classroom. She was sweet , but also had lots of SASS! She was my kind of lady. Our deepest condolences to her husband and children and may she rest in the sweetest peace. Heaven sure did gain a very special teacher.
