Coleen A. Loewen

Born in Jersey City, NJ, she lived in Little Ferry, later moving to Boonton Township. She raised her family in Sparta, NJ where her family still resides. Coleen had been living there since 1991.

Coleen is a graduate of Morris Catholic and later went on to graduate with a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration from Iona College. She began her career at Penton Learning Systems. Coleen went on to work for International Institute for Learning in Manhattan, where she rose through the ranks to Executive Vice President of Global Solutions. She worked at IIL for over 32 years.

She is predeceased by her parents, Carol Ann Trulby (Bauman) and Michael Trulby.

She is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, William R. (Bill) Loewen; her children, Danielle (Dani) and William M. (Billy) Loewen of Sparta, NJ; her sister, Kristen Zekunde (Trulby), and husband, Erik, and their two daughters, Kaitlyn and Kourtney of Sparta, NJ; her brother, Michael C. Trulby of Little Egg Harbor, NJ; in addition to many in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Coleen lit up every room with her smile, laugh and always joyful presence. She made a huge impact on everyone she met. Coleen was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece and cousin. This is not a goodbye, but instead a "See you later". She will forever be in our hearts and deeply missed every day until we meet again in heaven.

Visitation for Coleen will be held Monday, August 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ 07871. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11AM, Tuesday, August 12th at Saint Kateri Church, 427 Stanhope Rd, Sparta, NJ 07871.
