Constance "Connie" A. DeVries

Newton- Constance “ Miss Connie” A. DeVries (Sullivan) went home to the Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in Newton. She was 79. Connie was born in Teaneck, NJ to Joseph and Lillian (Blair) Sullivan. She has resided in Andover for the past 54 years. “Miss Connie” as she was known, was the owner of D’Marge dance studio for the last 29 years. Her life was devoted to her dance students, and spending quality time with her family, especially her six grandchildren. Connie was loved by many and will be sadly missed. She is predeceased by her husband; Donald DeVries in 1989, and a brother; Joseph Sullivan. Surviving her are two sons; Douglas and wife Allison, and Michael and wife Rosemarie, two daughters; Beth Anne Payne and husband John, and Lori Casey and husband Sean, Six Grandchildren; Sean, Justine, James, Alex, DJ, and Carly. A sister; Dr. Lynn Davis, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited Thursday 2~4 7~9 pm to Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871.
