Dolores C. Nagy

Born in Elizabeth, NJ, She grew up in Linden, NJ. After high school, Dolores went to secretarial school and worked until starting her family.

Dolores married Frank Nagy in 1955. Together, they settled in Carteret, NJ where they raised their 2 sons, James and Edward. Dolores was a dedicated homemaker, cook , baker, gardener, wife and mother. She cultivated a rose garden, from which she found much enjoyment.

A devout Catholic, her faith was very important to her. She and her family were members of Holy Family Church in Carteret.

After raising her family, Dolores went back to work as a ladies coats and electronics sales associate at Macy's in Menlo Park. She retired after 25 years.

Dolores and Frank enjoyed traveling and touring destinations such as Europe, Hawaii, and frequently Florida.

A visitation for Dolores will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A graveside service will occur Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 12:15 PM at Rahway Cemetery, 1670 St Georges Ave, Rahway, NJ.
