Donald Duffy

Donald Duffy, 76, passed away on April 16, 2012 at Newton Memorial Hospital. Donald was born in Paterson, NJ and lived in Elmwood Park before moving to Sparta, NJ 34 years ago. Donald was a proud member of the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Sparta and the VFW. Donald worked as a Chemical Operator at Hoffmann LaRoche in Nutley, NJ retiring in 1998. He was a member of the Emergency Squad and the Fire Department at Hoffmann LaRoche. Donald is survived by his beloved wife Cecelia (nee Kaczyk) Duffy; devoted children: Sandra Walsh and her husband John of PA and Elizabeth Bridges and her companion Martin Robins of NJ. He is also survived by his loving granddaughter Amanda Bridges. Brother George Duffy and his wife Lois of SC and several cherished nieces and nephews. On Saturday, April 28th, 2012 family and friends may gather for remembrances at 11am at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. Following a memorial service will be held at 12noon at the funeral home.
