Sparta- Doris C. Sullivan (Collier) longtime resident of Sparta passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015 in Newton, NJ. She was 84. Doris was born in Germantown, NY to Casper and Mary Elizabeth Collier (Rushmore). Predeceasing Doris is her beloved husband, William J. in 2014, after 59 years of marriage. She is survived by three sons: Timothy Sullivan and his wife Jill, Michael Sullivan and his wife Christine, Scott Sullivan, two daughters: Cassie Masone and her husband Vincent and Kelly Ross and her husband Greg, one sister, Gloria Cole and sixteen grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life on Tuesday Nov. 3rd at the St. Moritz restaurant in Sparta NJ starting at 5:00 pm. A 10:00 am Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4th at Saint Kateri Tekakwitha Church 427 Stanhope Rd Sparta. Memorial contributions in Doris’s name may be made to the Karen Ann Quinlan’s Hospice or the Salvation Army.
