Dorothy M. Talmadge

She was 90 years old. Dorothy was born in Warwick, New York to Robert and Maude Mabee (Decker). She was a lifelong resident of Sparta, NJ.

Dorothy was congregant of the Sparta Methodist Church, and was previously employed as a driver with Community Transport and Village Bus Company of Sparta.

Pre-deceasing her are two sons; Richard and Spc-4 Thomas Mabee (1967), two sisters; Eleanor Cooper, and Marguerite Draughon, and eight brothers; Peter, Ronald, Arthur, Fred, Lawrence, Herbert, Jay, and Seeley. Surviving her are five sons; Raymond Jr., Seeley, Leslie, Donald, and Henry., and seven daughters; Shirley Hagan, Jean McGuire, Barbara McGuire, Sylvia Jeromin, Mary Coston, Karen Riker, and Susan Gay, and two sisters; Evelyn Cancelleri, and Mary Abode, and 35 grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to Goble Funeral Home 22 Main Street Sparta, NJ 07871 Friday, 5 – 9pm with an 8:30 pm funeral service led by Pastor John Reynolds.
