E. Susan Gibson

Born in Philadelphia, PA has resided in Sparta (Lake Mohawk), NJ since 1977. She is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, William “Denny” Gibson (2022) and her son, William “Bill” Dennis Jr. (1990). She is survived by her twin brother; Herbert, two daughters; Lori Regula and Sheri Gibson-Broyles, her beloved son-in-law; Michael Regula, 5 grandchildren; Amanda Hoskins, Ryan Wilson, Micky Regula, James Broyles, Adam Broyles and Larry Sewell, 3 great-grandchildren; Tristan, Annabelle and Greyson (Amanda Hoskins) and 1 great-great grandchild; Milo (Tristan).

Sue described herself as an avid walker, reader, world traveler, NYC lover, and Quiet seeker. She attended Rider College where she met her husband, Dennis, graduating in 1960 with an AA. When her children were old enough to attend school Sue obtained her Real Estate license and had a successful career in that profession until 1991. She began a new career at Pfizer (Warner Lambert) until she retired in 2002. She spent her retirement traveling, attending the theater, taking historical tours in NYC, time spent friends and enjoying cherished “quiet” times.

She was a member of the Sparta United Methodist Church and volunteered at “The Mouse” thrift store associated with the church. Sue requested no services for her passing. Her family would like to thank her many friends who continued to support and encourage her during the last two challenging years; Larry Sewall (Ohio), Laura Camp (N.C.), Sue Greaves (NJ) Betsy Ballantyne (NJ), her neighbors, particularly Scott and Litza.
