Edna J. Search

Edna J. Search, 91, of Milton, NJ passed away on April 19, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Milton and worked for many years for the Jefferson Township Board of Education as manager in the food pantry, retiring in 1980. Edna was a member of the Jefferson Township Fire Department Auxiliary and a member of the Milton United Methodist Church. Edna loved to travel but loved being with her family the most. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Eugene who passed in 1992. Edna is survived by her devoted daughters: Patricia Davies and her husband Richard of Lafayette, NJ and Susan Kaufman and her husband William Jr. of Branchville, NJ; grandchildren: Cindy, Karen, Rich, Bill, John and Beth. She is also survived by 20 great- grandchildren, 7 great great- grandchildren and sisters: Bertha Tasker, Dorothy Gibbs, Josie Gamble, and brother Chuck Beardslee. Friends may call Thursday, April 23, from 2-4, 7-9pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, NJ 07871. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am Friday at the Milton United Methodist Church, 316 Dover-Milton Road, Oak Ridge, NJ 07438. Interment will follow at Milton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Milton United Methodist Church.
