Sparta- Eleanor Van Eerden (O’Shea) passed into eternal life on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Newton, NJ. Mrs. Van Eerden was 81 years old. She was born in Boston, MA to Daniel and Helen O’Shea (Schild). She resided for the past 12 years in Sparta, and previously lived in Wayne, NJ. Eleanor was employed for twenty years as a Human Resources Specialist with Toshiba Corporation in Wayne, NJ. She was dedicated to her loving family, loved to travel and loved fine food. Eleanor is predeceased by a sister; Margaret Close. Surviving is her beloved husband of 58 years; Neil, two daughters;
Kristin Klein of Jefferson, NJ, and Heidi Kutcher of Wantage,NJ., a son; Peter Van Eerden of Sioux Falls, SD, four grandchildren; Raymond Kutcher, Daniel and Peter Klein, and Tina Marie Perrotta, and two sisters; Hannah Laughlin and Kathleen Meehan.
