Betsy was born in Philadelphia PA and was a graduate of Rockford College class of 1957. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Pierson and partner Barry Ball of Crested Butte CO, son James Pierson and his wife Natalie of Freeport Bahamas, and son Thomas Pierson and his wife Jaclyn of Sparta NJ. Betsy is also survived by 5 grandchildren and her brother John S. Bell of Auburn ME. She was predeceased by her husband Donald, of 57 years, and her sister Barbara Bell Thomson of Carmel CA.
