Eric and I went to preschool at Sunshine Day Care Center in Jefferson Township. He was in most of my classes through Stanlick School, Consolidated School and MS and HS. It was like a giant was walking around when you looked at him. No one messed with him. He had this feeling of leadership and ability that spoke for itself. I admired him and I wasn't the only one. We saw each other at Olympus Gym in Jefferson after graduating. I didn't know him that well outside of school but he always smiled when he saw me. I give my best to his family and friends. He was a good man to know.

Eric was and always will be one of those very special people that stand out in ones lifetime. He had a way of being your best friend the moment you met him. And we were blessed to have spent a lot of good times with him.
As the saying goes, “only the good die young” yes Eric was a very good and loving man. He will be missed by many but I know in my heart of hearts that he is with a great group of angels one of whom we all know will grab him up and be sure that he will not be alone till the rest of us get there.
Love you Eric

I will always remember Eric from school days in Jefferson Township, starting with our own pre-school group of 6 or 7 children and mothers. He was a good friend to my son Nils Peterson when he needed him. Eric also helped me through some things and I will always be grateful. Eileen and family - my deepest sympathy.
Praying for all of you. Rosemarie (Ro)

You are missed buddy! You were an amazing friend, father, brother and man who went to great lengths to help others. You were a true friend and I personally experienced all those qualities in you from sports, and trying to save me from the demons I at one time danced with. The talks we had when we worked together about life and our struggles. You will always have a place in my heart as well as many others! You had an amazing soul!! I love you buddy and Til we meet again! ❤

My heart is still so heavy my friend. I wait for the next text message from you. For the next hug. For you to call me “Aaaaron!” just one more time. To hear that laugh once again. You have left a huge void in all of our lives. I pray you are at peace and in no more pain.
