Evelyn A. Cancelliere

Born September 13th 1932, Evelyn joined the US Navy as a young woman, becoming a proud member of WAVE. She would soon after, meet the love of her life and then begin her new chapter, raising 5 children. Evelyn worked at Direct mail service in Dover, NJ until she retired in 1997.

Evelyn was the heart of her family — bringing generations together with her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, welcomed, and cared for, from the very moment they met her. She was known for her generous spirit, her humor, and her thoughtfulness. Whether it was remembering every birthday, making holidays magical, or simply calling to check in, she made it her mission to make others feel loved.

Evelyn leaves behind three Children, Patricia of Rockaway, NJ. Michael of Lake Hopatcong NJ and Nancy, also from Lk Hopatcong, NJ as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great-great grandchild. Evelyn is predeceased by husband Ralph Cancelliere and two children, Ralph Jr and Janice Wyble.

Evelyn leaves behind a beautiful legacy through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchild, and extended family. Her presence filled every room, and her absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled. She will be missed beyond words and remembered forever in our hearts

Visitation will be held at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Sparta, NJ on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a service starting at 7:30pm.
